Come on Over

Oh Hey.
Well here is our three month update! Im thinking this is as good as its gonna get. Im not very good at blogging and compiling and making funny cute remarks about our obnoxiously wonderful lives. Plus every time I start to blog, I get swept away by entertaining the thought that I could do many of the foods/ crafts on Pinterest. So here I am three months behind blogging and I have promised myself that I would catch everyone up before the day ends.

Rob started Dental school.
He holds all the "belts" as the class Ping Pong Champ.
As you can imagine, Im so Proud.
I had wonderful friends come to Vegas for a weekend.
It was full of BINGO, the strip, winning a few dollers, and good food!
Love my friends!

We went to California for my birthday weekend!
We went to Six Flags Magic Mountain and then to Oxnard to visit robs grandparents.
It was a wonderful trip.

Our house is DONE.
Like ready to move into...except we had no furniture.

So I traveled to Texas to see family and Pack up.
When I say pack up... i mean load the 24 footer.

Yep. my mom and i drove a semi for the first time...
From Texas to Nevada.
Only going max 65mph.
Tell me about it.
We unpacked and unpacked and unpacked.
The house is now beautiful.
Hodgepodged but beautiful.
So come on over!
We've had a few owning a home mishaps.
Bad flooring. Clogged pipes.
No biggie. The builder fixed it.
Went on a mini vacation to st.george to visit robs family.
We got to see Little Mermaid and Grease at Toucahan.

We had Great seats thanks to Heather. :)
We cant wait till next year to see Aladin and Hairspray!
Lets see what else...
Halloween!!
Normally this means dressing up and partying it up.
This year it ment carving pumpkins.

Decorating the door and handing out Candy.
we had 5 trick-or-treaters.
woo-hoo.
Good thing is I have a stash of candy for myself.
My dad and rosie came to visit.
They got to see the strip after many many years of change!
My mom came and cooked many many delish meals.
We painted.
only a few walls but we love them.
I made an awesome door wreath.
Thanks to Pinterest.
I got a JOB.
I know finally.
Ill be the woman in the white coat selling you Clinique at Macys.
Its nothing amazing but hey it will get me working and help pay bills.
yeah bills... not so fun.
So thanksgiving is coming and so is CHRISTMAS!
Can you tell Im excited.
Luckily this is our favorite time of the year!
We love that we get to spend it together for the first time!!
So we are looking forward to decorating.
Gingerhouse making.
Caroling out in the snow.
ha well to get snow we will have to visit utah.
But really we love this season for many reasons and
most importantly it reminds us to count our many blessings.
 Happy Holidays!

Our First Home

Well since we will be moving to the city of sin we figured we should get a place to stay. Well with long drawn out discussions and tons of searching, we finally found one! Its perfect... just big enough for the two of us... and company of course!

Here she is...

Isn't she ravishing.
Needs some work I'd say.
No worries it's getting better.

Now were getting somewhere.
And... drumroll...

Ta Da!

Our cute little casa. It might be small.
But its perfect and its ours.

The inside is still under wrap.
Here is a sneak peek at the inside finishes.

In case anyone is a new home buyer like rob and me.
Here are some tips:
- Its expensive to get any updates. So you better start looking at 'do it yourself' blogs
for cute decorating ideas
-People in this industry are sharks sometimes. You have to put your big girl or boy pants on and
tell them what you do and do not want.
-Look around. Be patient. And as Rob puts it... work a deal.
- In the end pick something that works for your budget and something you LOVE.

After all you will be calling it home.

We are anxious to get in there and actually have a place to call our own. No offense to the families we have been living with. We love you dearly... but we are so excited to get out on our own! Also thanks to those who got us wonderful wedding gifts that will make our house a home!

I'm so blessed to call him my husband for time and all eternity!
Love you Rob.

Now back to this crazy little thing called...Life.
Rob will be starting dental school at UNLV.
I'll be diving into the working field.
Bring it.

Hopefully life wont take over too much.
We still plan on being our fun loving crazy selves.
Wish us luck!

The real world

Last time I wrote on my blog I was returning from paradise, where I spent part of the summer working hard and enjoying life in Belize. I was there with an excellent group of young adults and I didn't think life could get any better... Well it did. Sorry in advance because this is going to sum up the last 10 months of my life very quickly! Once I got home from belize I went back to BYU for my senior year of college. Rob and I were finally reunited. We spent every day and holiday together. He began dental school interviews in January and in February we went to San Francisco together. On the Golden Gate Bridge he got down on one knee and asked if I would marry him. YES! Since then we have graduated BYU and planned a wedding! The date is July 15, 2011 in the San Diego Temple! We could not be more excited! Like I said this was a catch up entry and I promise I will fill in some more of the details later... but soon this blog will now have two owners, Mr. & Mrs. Robert Keith Boyd.

Here is our relationship in a nutshell:
